Description
The Tundra Series Universal 16-Plate Transmission Oil Cooler keeps oil temperatures cool for optimum performance, and engine life. Featuring the more efficient stacked plate and fin design, these aluminum construction coolers are finished with the state-of-the-art PROFORM brazing process that protects from leaks and cracks and powdercoated with a black finish to withstands corrosion. Uniquely engineered louvered fins provide maximum cooling surface area, in a compact 2-inch thick, 11.5-inch wide footprint, while minimizing negative air flow resistance for some significant cooling potential! multiple mounting points on the flush mounting plates, make installation easily configurable to most setups. To ensure the quality that has come to be expected with PROFORM, the coolers are pressurized to 175PSI, and checked for deformities (complete failure is not reached until 600PSI), and further underwater tested at 80PSI, making sure no bubbles or mini-leaks are present.

- Tundra Series oil and transmission cooler from PROFORM keeps fluid temps down to extend engine life and optimize performance. Can also be used for power steering and rear differential fluids; the design prevents coolant and transmission fluids from mixing and causing expensive damage. This universal, aluminum, 16-plate cooler is brazed to resist leaks and cracks and then powder coated to ward off corrosion. Unique louvered fins provide maximum cooling surface area while minimizing negative airflow resistance; they’re also more efficient than tube and fin coolers. PROFORM designed the Tundra Series cooler to be compact enough to fit in a wide variety of applications: its footprint is only 11.5” wide by 2” thick. Multiple mounting points make installation work with many different setups. Pressurized to 175 PSI, prechecked for deformities, and underwater tested for bubbles to ensure no leaks are present before shipping. Use as a primary cooler or as an adjunct to a factory cooler. Great for tow vehicles!
