Nitro gears are manufactured from 8620 steel gear forgings in the same manufacturing facilities as GM, Dodge, Ford and Toyota. They are precision machined using computer controlled processes, heat treated, CNC triple-lapped and Rockwell tested for hardness. These extra steps ensure excellent fitment, ideal contact pattern and smooth, quiet operation. These are a premium aftermarket gear set that is far superior than your stock 11.5 in. gear set. These Nitro Gears are a true 11.8 in. diameter gear set and are a direct replacement for your 11.5 in. factory gear and also a direct replacement for 13-15 AAM 11.8 in. rear axle.
