- Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, yielding high tensile strength needed for high-demand performance applications
- Designed specifically for Chevrolet Small Block 400 Engines. To provide optimized performance durability
- Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin
- Includes high-quality wrist pins, and locks
- Made 100% in the USA
- Accumulator Groove: A specialty groove between the top and second ring provides added volume for blow-by gases. This helps reduce pressure between the rings, improving top ring seal and minimizing ring flutter at high cylinder pressures.
- Smooth Crown Finish: Deburs all areas around the valve pocket and dome area, to reduces stress risers and prevent hot spots.
- Contact Reduction: Reduce the amount of contact area against the cylinder wall when the piston "Rocks over". Contact reduction also serves to disrupt the flame travel into the crevice area causing a reduction in detonation.
- Double Pin Oilers: Deliver twice the amount of oil to the wrist pin as compared to the standard single pin oiler.
