Silencer Megabond 1/8-inch-thick foam is an excellent solution for gasketing applications where plastic and metal surfaces rub together and create squeaks. It is simple to use—just form, cut, peel, and stick. HushMat 1/8-inch Silencer Megabond can be applied as an anti-rattle gasket on the back of trim panels, as well as in console trays and glove boxes.
It can also be cut into tape strips, making it an effective anti-rattle tape for a variety of uses. Its lightweight and flexible design adds minimal weight to installations while remaining easy to cut and customize for different applications and surfaces, including metal, plastic, and fiberglass. The durable construction helps reduce the need for frequent maintenance and repairs, and the self-adhesive backing allows for quick, tool-free installation. When used in combination with HushMat Ultra, it also provides excellent thermal insulating properties.
