The CURT universal truck bed extender offers several innovative advantages to make the most of your truck bed. First, its pin-latch system eliminates the need to drill into your truck bed or modify it in any way. Instead of bolting into place, it installs quickly and easily, using the pin-latch system. Next, the CURT truck tailgate extender is unique because of its integrated fold-down tailgate. It provides convenient, more ergonomic access to your truck bed and cargo, unlike models that flip up or require you to climb over or uninstall completely. The CURT truck bed extender also features squared off corners to maximize storage space, unlike rounded models. It adds 26-1/2 inches of length to your truck bed, turning 6-1/2-foot beds into 8-1/2-foot and 8-foot beds into over 10-foot. It fits most full-size truck beds, including short and long options. It is constructed from strong, powder-coated steel tubing but only weighs 40 pounds, making it even easier to install or remove as desired. The entire truck bed extension breaks down into three panels for compact storage.
