Description

The CURT aluminum bike rack #18088 is designed to be the ultimate in versatility, featuring a lightweight and highly adaptable design. The bike rack itself mounts onto any industry-standard 2-inch x 2-inch receiver and securely locks into place with a built-in anti-rattle, key-operated shank. Once in place, the adjustable cradles accept a wide variety of bike sizes and styles, including wheel diameters up to 29 inches, fat tires up to 5 inches wide and e-bikes. This aluminum platform bike rack weighs only 45 pounds and can accept up to two bikes and 130 pounds in weight capacity. NOTE: For use with any frame-mounted 2" class 3 or higher trailer hitch receiver. Clamp-on bumper receivers and traditional 4" square bumpers should not be used to mount bike racks. Do not exceed receiver weight limits.

Though it’s light, this bike rack is rated to hold up to two bikes (130 lb total weight) in a variety of frame shapes and sizes, including e-bikes. CURT’s molded cradles and padded arms create three secure contact points (without frame contact) to keep bikes safe and sound during transit. Aluminum tray-style bike racks accommodate tire diameters from 20” to 29”, including road tires and fat tires up to 4” wide, with ratcheting arms that sit below the tray. This rack goes on easily thanks to its 10-bolt assembly, with an anti-rattle shank and lock to provide peace of mind and an irritation-free transport experience.
