ARIES AdvantEDGE side bars do away with the common, rounded look of other side bars and nerf bars, featuring an angular, eight-sided tube profile and powder-coated all-aluminum construction. The angular edges provide a clear-cut, uncompromising accent for the look of today's trucks. Made from 5-1/2" wide, eight-sided, extruded aluminum tubing, AdvantEDGE side bars are strong, lightweight and impervious to rust, offering a solid step that is built to face the elements and outlast them. They also come with die-cast aluminum end caps and a stamped aluminum tread. The aluminum treads provide a long-lasting, non-skid stepping surface that will not crack or fade in the sun. ARIES AdvantEDGE side bars are also marked for their easy, custom-fit installation. They feature the ARIES VersaTrac mounting system with brackets that are made from powder-coated steel and built for specific vehicles (NOTE: VersaTrac mounting brackets are sold separately; see application information to determine which brackets and side bars fit your vehicle). The high-strength steel brackets mount using pre-existing holes, and the side bars attach to the brackets with heavy-duty hardware and a full-length channel. The VersaTrac mounting sys tem makes installation simple and customizable, allowing the side bars to be swapped out at any time with other side steps or running boards that feature the VersaTrac system.
