The AIRAID LS Air Filter is specially designed for vehicles with an LS engine swap and addresses many of the unique induction needs of an LS swap. The air filter clamps right on to the throttle body of the LS engine. The LS Air Filter is available with a standard 3.875 inch flange to match a factory throttle body, or with a 4.25 inch flange that is compatible with the majority of aftermarket throttle bodies. The filter features an extra-thick flange to better withstand heavy vibrations and a built-in velocity stack to increase airflow. Some LS Air Filters have a built-in provision to mount an intake air temperature sensor on the filter assembly, which is commonly needed on LS applications. The filter is sized to provide excellent air flow to the engine while maintaining a compact footprint to work within tight engine compartments. Some LS Air Filters also offer an optional shield to help protect the filter from dirt and debris while further reinforcing the filter mount.
